This is the ancestral traditional recipe of communion chocolate of which we are all proud, specially revisited to make it a product of practical excellence, easy to use and accessible by all.

It comes in the form of a powder in which there is only the milk of your choice to add.
1 tablespoon for 100 ml of milk… 2 minutes on the stove and it's ready !!!

- € 16,250: We must reach this level in order to manufacture large volumes and carry out our purchases of raw materials and packaging at competitive costs
- € 25,000: by reaching this level we will be able to ensure the communication and distribution of products on the island but more widely (Guadeloupe and hexagonal France in particular)

We are fortunate to have already many customers of which you are surely one. Our major challenge is to supply the market without interruption in order to seduce the locals but also holidaymakers and tourists so that they can bring back with them one of the pride of our local gastronomy.
Our ambition is to give back its letters of nobility to this jewel and to make it discover in Martinique, in Guadeloupe but also on the hexagon.
After testing the product in February 2018 at the Salon de la Gastronomie Outremer in Paris, we understood that our recipe had acquired its place in the hearts of Martinicans, of course, but also that it largely appealed to both Domian and European palates ( English, German Italians bought!)
I am Janine SALOMON- OZIER-LAFONTAINE,
The entrepreneurial adventure began for me in 1995. Manager passionate about the development of Martinique and its flavors, my ambition was to ship packages of West Indian products and tropical flowers to France under the COLIPAYS brand then BASKET ISLANDS.
I exported the wealth of the territory for 20 years!
Over the years, the desire to create my own creations itches me and in 2016, I created the company COEUR DES ILES with the ambition to sublimate the flavors of Martinique to make luxury products.
Scientific training and strong experience in an agro-food research laboratory,
I then launched an original collection of Macarons with island flavors, signed Les macarons de Janine, a collection of Prestige Chocolates and Bonbons Filled with Island Flavors.
By developing a traditional chocolate such as our grandmothers did, my personal ambition is to bring a touch of modernity to tradition in order to bring Martinican gastronomy high and beyond our borders.
Vibrant tribute to my grandmothers, who instilled in me the art of healthy eating, of eating local… local products!
Tender thoughts and a big THANK YOU to my mother, an excellent cook who made me want to cook and make recipes and to my Auntie Baby for whom communion chocolate is literally the emblem of Martinique…
