Black. is the journal of reconciliation, of discovery inside and outside the Black Community. The tone of our newspaper is unifying and educational.
BLACK. is sold in 7 points of sale in Montpellier. BLACK. is printed in 100 copies. We can say today that our test is conclusive. We have a customer base. We need to develop ourselves.

Two types of newspapers exist:

THE MISSIONS OF THE BLACK JOURNAL :
- Denounce current and historical facts little known inside and / or outside the black community to give readers tools to reflect on themes on which a majority generally thinks they have sufficiently questioned themselves.
- Make a public of different origins and ages aware of the values of NOIR. through the subject of the black community which is an example chosen to defend humanist values.
- Promote the actions of inspiring and local black people or of all types of people whose actions are related to the themes addressed and the values defended.

I am Eloïse CHODATON, founder of the Noir newspaper. I am a Communication student.
This project was born from my strong tendency to think. But it was the willed ignorance of some and the simplistic look of others on their own community that made its creation urgent to me.
The most important thing for me is to allow the identification of its readers with BLACK. So I like to include everything that gives it a strong proximity to them, regardless of their color. So that you remember that what you are looking for elsewhere is also close to you!
And even if the yellow color of the "Cours d'Histoire" section runs through the newspaper, it is above all an invitation to reflect on identity. History is its tool to answer the question "WHY?".
All this to remind us that there is a bandage for every wound and that no one other than ourselves has the capacity to choose this bandage.
A universal message that starts from my questioning about the identity of my community but which applies to everyone.
The support of Le Nouveau Montpellier Magazine via the LNM application which allows me to increase my paper support is considerable, because it makes the reading of this newspaper which fits on a page infinite.
BLACK. is a project supported by Pepite LR and will be presented throughout the year during multiple competitions aimed at receiving funding and support that could allow the development of other equally local versions outside of Montpellier.
