In our department, the poverty rate has exceeded 32%, misery is settling in the homes of many people. Let us decide to act by subscribing to a citizen approach, thus promoting the emergence of a united, more equitable and just economy. Let us come to the aid of the most fragile people. Support our action to help build a house for a family in difficult circumstances.

The Club of Real Estate Investors of the Antilles is a non-profit association which aims to promote the emergence of a network of real estate and construction professionals through exchanges, meetings and the pooling of experiences and skills.
The C2IA is particularly sensitive to the socio-economic situation of the island, many families live in precarious conditions. We therefore wish to make our contribution through the solidarity component of our association.
Our goal is to support a solidarity-based project for people in difficulty who are no longer able to take on small renovation work. Therefore, we want to make our network of real estate professionals (entrepreneurs, craftsmen, etc.) available in order to find lasting solutions.
However, the implementation of this involves costs and we are currently looking for support to finalize this project.
IN 2007, CYCLONE DEAN DESTROYED THEIR HOUSE IN SCHOELCHER
André, our beneficiary, lives with his wife in the town of Schoelcher, their home was destroyed following the passage of Cyclone Dean.
His precarious professional situation did not allow him to rebuild, he was forced to build makeshift housing near his real home.
Our choice fell on this family, voluntary and combative and discreet, because it meets in all points our selection criteria: to be the owner of the accommodation.
WE WANT TO REBUILD THEM A LITTLE WOODEN HOUSE
Our project is to rebuild a small wooden house with an area of 60M²
We do not pretend to ensure the same solidarity support missions as our government representatives, however at our level we can act to make the old adage "an lanmin ka lavé lot" a habit of life.
The funds collected will help finance:
- Carrying out the soil study as part of the building permit application (2,000 euros)
- The installation of pile foundations, essential for liquefiable soils such as in certain areas of the municipality of Schoelcher. (6,000 euros)
- The purchase of the materials needed to carry out the work (22,466 euros)
Our project is in its early stages, the first funds collected will allow us to carry out the soil study to be included in the building permit which will be submitted to the town planning department of the municipality of Schoelcher.
We will then have to approach several partners to obtain additional funds to allow the work to be carried out. The risk is therefore not to be able to obtain the totality of the sum and therefore to carry out only part of the planned work.
Our challenge is to be able to make you aware of our cause and to make you want to participate in this momentum of solidarity.
Succeeding in this endeavor will make it possible to make our contribution to the construction of the solidarity economy.
