From February 27 to March 07, young Martinique people supported by the Martiniquaise Basket Ball League will face other young basketball players in Montpellier for girls and in Atlanta for boys. Support them and help them achieve this great human adventure!
From February 27 to March 7, 2020, 19 young boys will travel accompanied by their supervisors to ATLANTA and 14 girls will travel to MONTPELLIER to represent Martinique and face other BASKETBALL teams.
Basketball is a unifying sport. This team sport teaches them respect for others, rigor, a taste for effort and often values of sharing.
Sharing and cultural exchange are at the very heart of these formative trips for these young people.
The Martinican Basketball League, the CTS and its technical staff want to offer these young Martinican people the opportunity to realize their dreams: to open up to the outside, improve their technical know-how and also their skills.
In Atlanta, they will visit historical monuments including the historic site of Martin Luther King. It is also better to understand how this young man was able with his will, his perseverance positively impact the life of each and everyone. And, in Montpellier, cultural visits are planned including the Place de la Comédie and the Fabre Museum.
Thanks to your support, this adventure will help bring them together and create more professional cohesion among these young people. Confronting teams from outside Martinique means better preparing them for their professional lives, for the world in which they will operate.

The Martinican basketball league has always ensured the promotion of Basket Ball as a discipline in its own right which aims to:
- to democratize basketball among young Martinicans through local championships, inter-zone, inter-league and international meetings
- to teach young people fundamental values in order to improve the know-how and the know-how to be within our Antillo-Guyanese youth.
This is how the new governance intends to promote the emergence of young talents in order to position Martinican youth on the European, Caribbean and international scene.
